Are you creative? Do you enjoy writing and researching? The Busselton Dunsborough Volunteer Centre is looking for someone to write, compile and publish our quarterly newsletter using Mail Chimp. You will need to live locally in the Busselton Dunsborough area. You will research current volunteer trends, interview local volunteers and compile their volunteer stories for printing, receive and publish articles and submissions from not-for profit groups and publish other relevant content.
We are looking for support members who may be interested in helping out with administration, fundraising, maintenance of vehicles, equipment and the surrounds of the fire station, cadets program and arranging social activities.
We have positions available for people who are interested in being involved in active firefighting activities. There is no cost for the volunteer other than some of your time. A Police Check will be done on your behalf, all PPC/E is provided. Training is also provided. We are a very social Brigade, however we are also very serious about our job and service to the community. It needs to be understood that joining this Emergency Service requires a commitment to training and other activities.
