Teachers on Wheels is a Sydney-based not-for-profit that empowers people from all walks of life to transform their lives through access to quality education, training and career mentoring opportunities. Our clients are primarily young people who come from disadvantaged or low socio-economic backgrounds, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and migrant and refugee backgrounds. Our programs are designed to show individuals the wide range of career opportunities available to them, support them to make positive career and education choices, and help them secure stable, meaningful employment. It is our mission to undermine poverty and social inequality by equipping people with the skills, knowledge and support they need to overcome adversity, guiding them to stable employment that allows them to break out of the cycle of poverty and disadvantage.
