Montrose Aged Care Centre is a boutique centre specialising in providing care services for males with behavioural and mental health concerns. We’re currently recruiting volunteers to join our lifestyle team to help us create a fun, caring and supportive environment for our residents. We need volunteers who are passionate about breaking the loneliness cycle for our seniors and who love engaging with older people.

Are you an experienced counsellor (eligible for registration with Psychology Board of Australia, or membership of PACFA, AASW or equivalent) looking to deepen your therapeutic approach? Mandala offers a comprehensive training course with a unique opportunity to integrate Psychodynamic theories and practical skills into your clinical practice. While there's an associated fee for the training, we provide partial scholarships based on individual circumstances. The next intake begins in July 2024.

Working as part of a team of volunteers, you will provide customer service and sales assistance at the Noffs Opportunity Shop. Day-to-day tasks can include; advising customers of pricing, entering all takings in to the cash register, clothes and goods sorting, and ensuring the facility is clean and tidy.

You'll be helping raise vital funds for our programs which support young people as well as directing tonnes of goods from landfill.
