We offer programs and services including our No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), financial counselling, LIFE Youth program, energy accounts assistance, food pantry, information, advice and referral. Duties include: • Assist clients with understanding how the service works • General customer service to help clients fulfill their needs • Collect information and maintain accurate records of clients • Process client transactions using Square including taking payments • Helping with setup and pack down of food pantry • Cleaning of food pantry areas including storage room, shelves, fridges, freezers, tables & floors • Assist with collecting donated groceries/items from local organisations (company van provided) • Assist with receiving stock including lifting and carrying, counting, unpacking, scanning, pricing, displaying and storing • Check dates and food safety of items and discard as required • Re-stock shelves in food pantry as needed • Add and update stock in Square including pricing • Assist with stocktake as required • Update PowerPoint presentation with current available stock for cold storage items • Attend meetings as required • Undertake any other appropriate tasks requested by supervisor/manager
