Gardening Volunteers, Residential Care, Woy Woy.

Do you have a green thumb or a love for plants and keeping social?
As a HammondCare volunteer at Woy Woy, you'll engage with people living with dementia to potter in the gardens, tend the plants, or water the raised gardens. There's no hard labour involved, just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
HammondCare
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
