Come together with residents at HammondCare Woy Woy to assist with existing projects or to help start a new one. Ideally you have a passion for knitting, sewing, crochet or all three. Be rewarded as you volunteer your time with other people who are interested in this activity, we will provide the resources as you provide your friendly self and skillset.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
