Join our Team to assist Residents attend a monthly dance group. Bring fun and energy while helping guide people with gentle dance. Perhaps you have a background in dance? You will be helping older Residents in care maintain their passion for dancing and healthy wellbeing while having fun!

We are seeking Volunteers to coach and mentor young people aged 15-18 years (currently at school or have left school) to construct small vessels such as dinghies or kayaks. The program is aimed at youth who struggle to progress through school or have left school and have difficulty moving into further education or the workplace. This program provides a safe space for participants to build the positive approach needed to maintain their education or pursue further training and employment.

Share your love of preparing food and make a positive impact on our senior citizens by providing nutritious morning tea and lunch time meal each week, as part of our Healthy Ageing Program. This may include purchasing supplies, cooking and serving on the day and kitchen clean up.

Assist the current activity team with recreational activities and socialisation activities for clients. This may include setting up activities, activity participation and guidance. You'd help maintain their online presence in order to maximise impact and promote their programs and activities. You'll have the opportunity to use your creativity writing, sharing, and posting.

If you enjoy working in the outdoors, this is the role for you. You'll assist with mowing, whipper-snipping, hand weeding, spraying, mulching and planting. All PPE and equipment (self-propelled mowers, whipper-snippers etc) provided. All chemical use is under strictly controlled conditions. No previous gardening/groundsperson experience required, but would be useful.

Do you like working outdoors? You'll be physically active and able to assist this heritage organisation to maintain their grounds (approximately 1 hectare) for the enjoyment of visitors. Tasks include mowing, mulching, trimming, weeding etc. Some gardening and grounds maintenance experience would be an advantage however, any interest in these fields would be appropriate. Main days of work are Mob and Wed. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

This role involves maintaining and restoring wooden bodied heritage railway rolling stock (rail motors) for operation on the national rail network. Maintaining other wooden facilities within our Depot precinct. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson. Your reliability and enthusiasm will be appreciated, as will your previous woodworking or carpentry experience.

Assist in managing the store of spare parts to maintain and service our fleet of vintage railway rolling stock. Our Depot facilities are located at Paterson.

Join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers, assisting with restoration and maintenance of heritage rail motors, and other general plumbing works around the depot. Your reliability and enthusiasm will be appreciated, as will your previous plumbing experience. Main days of work are Monday and Wednesday. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

Your diesel experience, motor mechanic or trade's assistant will be highly regarded when you join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers. You'll be servicing railway vehicle engines, doing general maintenance and inspections etc for operation on the national rail network. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson.
