When bringing your pet into an aged care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is: Calm, patient & gentle in nature, Up-to-date with vaccinations/treatment of worms & fleas, Nails are short &blunt. Freshly cut nails should be filed. Dogs must be on a lead.

We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. You'll need to bring your own instrument and/or backing tracks with you, or play our piano, or maybe lead a sing-a-long.

Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with ice cream, toppings & sweet treats around to residents living with dementia at our residential aged care home. We all love a sweet treat once in a while. You’ll bring joy to residents every time you enter the room.

Do you enjoy hosting a good old sausage sizzle? We’re looking for volunteers to assist staff with a barbecue for residents in their cottage garden. Staff will be on hand, your role will be to turn the food over, so it cooks through and chat with residents around the barbecue.

Share your love of music, each week or fortnight, with residents living with Dementia, at our Sunday Sing-Along Sessions. As you volunteer and play/sing, you'll be providing a lovely opportunity for residents to sing some of their favourites.

Share your passion of music with residents who are living with dementia. Residents at Cardiff have individualised playlists and are looking for assistance to listen to their chosen music through the Vera Pro App. As you volunteer, you'll be engaging with residents, getting to know their music preferences and sharing the enjoyment of listening to music together.
