We recruit and train volunteers from the community to become youth mentors, before matching them with a teenager at a local public high school.
CareSouth's Aunties and Uncles program is looking for adult mentors to support children aged 3 to 12 from vulnerable backgrounds in the Shoalhaven area including Nowra, Huskisson, Berry and surrounding areas. Mentors spend time connecting and doing everyday activities with a local child, flexible hours at least once per month. They provide friendship and support to a child, acting as role models and expanding the child's support network.
