Sydney Heritage Fleet needs maintenance crew members on its two regularly-used coal-fired steamers. We also own and operate several restored historic vessels representing our maritime heritage, including steam tug Waratah (Cockatoo Island Dockyard 1902, VIP steam launch Lady Hopetoun, (Sydney 1902), Kanangra a 1,000 - passenger double-ended harbour ferry, John Oxley a former Moreton Bay pilot steamer some restored vintage diesel launches and especially tall ship James Craig

Our steam tug Waratah built 1902 at Cockatoo Island badly needs help to maintain paintwork by removing and treating rust, then re-painting. Sydney Heritage Fleet is voluntary group dedicated to preserving, restoring and operating vessels representing our Maritime history.
