Wollongong City Council’s Community Support Services help people in our community stay independent, connected and involved.

If you’re interested in building compassionate and rewarding relationships, and have time to commit on a regular basis, we would love to hear from you.

As a volunteer, you'll be working with our dedicated team to provide transport assistance to people who live in the Wollongong & Shellharbour areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a bus / motor vehicle in a safe manner
• Following rostered schedule for picking up and dropping off clients
• Assisting clients on and off vehicles, including securing walkers or wheelchairs as required
• Maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of clients
• Performing duties in accordance with Wollongong City Council WH&S policies and procedures.
