Opportunity to support a community-driven food relief initiative. Volunteer needed once to twice a month on Tuesdays 12:30PM-2:30PM, to drive a hire van to collect produce from Camperdown before dropping produce off to Glebe Youth Service and then returning the van to its spot. The hire van is paid for by us and will be booked for you at a location close to Glebe Youth Service (84 Glebe Point Road, Glebe).

Volunteer needed once to twice a month on Thursday mornings 10:00am-12:00pm to drive a hire van to collect produce from Coles Broadway before dropping produce off to Glebe Youth Service and then parking the van in a local spot; and/or 12:30PM-3:00PM, to drive a hired van to deliver food hampers to approx. 30 households in the local area, supported by an experienced volunteer; and then return the van to a carpark in Pyrmont.

Montrose Aged Care Centre is a boutique centre specialising in providing care services for males with behavioural and mental health concerns. We’re currently recruiting volunteers to join our lifestyle team to help us create a fun, caring and supportive environment for our residents. We need volunteers who are passionate about breaking the loneliness cycle for our seniors and who love engaging with older people.

Working as part of a team of volunteers, you will provide customer service and sales assistance at the Noffs Opportunity Shop. Day-to-day tasks can include; advising customers of pricing, entering all takings in to the cash register, clothes and goods sorting, and ensuring the facility is clean and tidy.

This exciting opportunity involves working within a team to assist customers, sorting and pricing donations, merchandising and keeping the Op Shop in a tidy and presentable state. You'll be helping raise vital funds for our programs which support young people as well as directing tonnes of goods from landfill. Sydney Heritage Fleet is a volunteer organisation preserving, restoring and operating vessels which represent Australia's maritime history. Including Tall Ship James Craig, 1912 harbour ferry Kanangra, 1927 steamer John Oxley, 1902 steam tug Waratah, 1902 VIP launch Lady Hopetoun, and several motor launches. We are helping refit a large ocean going tug.

Our steam tug Waratah built 1902 at Cockatoo Island badly needs help to maintain paintwork by removing and treating rust, then re-painting. Sydney Heritage Fleet is voluntary group dedicated to preserving, restoring and operating vessels representing our Maritime history. We own in addition to many smaller boats, the former VIP steam yacht Lady Hopetoun, ex-Moreton Bay pilot steamer John Oxley, and the mighty 1,000 passenger double-ended Sydney Harbour Ferry Kanangra
