Due to an increase in demand for our services, we have opportunities for additional volunteers to join our team to assist older people to maintain their independence in their own homes. CareSouth's Aunties and Uncles program is looking for adult mentors to support children aged 3 to 12 from vulnerable backgrounds in the Milton / Ulladulla area and surrounding areas. Mentors spend time connecting and doing everyday activities with a local child, flexible hours at least once per month. They provide friendship and support to a child, acting as role models and expanding the child's support network.

We have incredible gents in Bay and Basin area who would love a regular visitor to chat and connect socially. The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is a government funded program to combat social isolation and helps to develop social connections for older persons. Social connections are essential to the well-being of older people. We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, friendly Volunteer Visitors to spend time with older people who are at risk of social isolation and loneliness.

HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in their home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church in the area.
