We are seeking a passionate Scratch Curriculum Developer to design engaging and educational Scratch programming lessons for students aged 8-13 in line with our current curriculums. The volunteer will create structured learning materials, including lesson plans, coding challenges, and project guides, that align with our mission of making coding accessible and fun.

You are passionate about the rights of people with disability and supporting an advocacy organisation. Melbourne East Disability Advocacy (MEDA) is a community based organisation. MEDA protects and promotes the rights of people with disability through our Individual, Systemic and Volunteer Citizen Advocacy programs. A Volunteer Fundraiser will: • Support the valuable work of MEDA by developing and delivering a fundraise initiative that will raise funds for MEDAs individual advocacy program.
With the Courage to Care team you will visit schools to participate in an anti-discrimination Program in one of two roles: 1. Present in a 25-minute segment historical stories about the rescuers - or "Upstanders" - during the Holocaust to groups of 30 students from Years 6 -12. OR 2. Facilitate in a 30-45 minute segment a conversation with 10-20 students about discrimination to encourage "Upstander" rather than "bystander" behaviour.
