Purpose of this role: The Agricultural Technology Research Project aims to use robotics technology to enhance the sustainability and productivity of agriculture of households in Cambodia. The purpose of this role is to support the integration of gender mainstreaming and gender equity principles into all aspects of project implementation.

Key Responsibilities This role will have the following key focus areas:

  1. Gender Analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive gender analyses to identify the needs, roles, and barriers faced by different genders in agriculture and technology
  1. Strategy Development
  • Design and implement gender mainstreaming strategies and action plans to enhance the project’s impact on gender equality
  1. Training and Capacity Building
  • Develop and deliver training programs for project staff and stakeholders on gender-sensitive approaches and best practices in agriculture technology
  1. Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Establish gender-sensitive indicators for project monitoring and evaluation. Regularly assess the effectiveness of gender mainstreaming efforts and report findings to stakeholders.
  1. Research Support
  • Provide guidance on incorporating gender perspectives into research methodologies and data collection processes.
