A Community Visitor is needed to visit gentleman in an Aged Care Facility located in Clayton.l. The aim of the Community Visitor is to reduce the social isolation of a resident in aged care. As a Community Visitor you will contribute to a resident’s well-being by sharing life experiences.

- Horticultural experience or qualifications - Plant Production experience with the ability to look at this nursery, igloo and see what needs to be done - Can make a schedule to STEER and OVERSEE production, guided by our target species, numbers and current stocktake - Comfortable with directing/leading volunteers in nursery work sessions. Do you enjoy light work in the outdoors and have an interest in nature? Come and join our Food Forest. Working bees are informal but informative gardening sessions which may include harvesting, planning and tending to the plants - planting, watering, weeding, pruning, mulching, and harvesting again. We have conversations about plants and cooking them. Come armed with gardening gloves, a hat and a drink and your tools of choice. All welcome.

Participate in conservation activities, e.g. tree planting, weed removal.
Carry out gardening activities in an indigenous nursery setting including watering, weeding, seed collecting. Onsite training will be given.
