Transition Bondi is a community-led group taking a holistic approach to sustainability, recognising that environmental and social issues are all connected. Our projects are designed to educate, empower and bring people together to build a more resilient community. Everything we do is shaped by our volunteers, who share their skills, ideas and passions through events and initiatives across the year. One of our key programs is Sustainable Fashion – Mend & Remake, which focuses on repairing, reworking and reimagining clothing to reduce textile waste and promote more circular ways of engaging with fashion. Our projects run throughout the year and include community gardens, shared meals, discussions and creative, hands-on workshops, all grounded in connection, learning and collective action.
