The Deputy Community Engagement Director will support the National Community Engagement Director in identifying, forming and managing a positive working relationship with key external national organisations such as: ● industry peak bodies/associations; ● community organisations (whether LGBTQIA+ or diversity more generally); and ● university peak bodies/associations.

The Director will, in collaboration with the broader GLAPD Board, be responsible for making strategic decisions and ensuring good governance of the organization. This includes setting strategic directions, overseeing financial and staffing decisions, and ensuring that the Board and the organization are fulfilling their legal duties in compliance with ASIC and ACNC. Candidates should also be prepared to assume dedicated Board roles, including Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.
