We are seeking a volunteer grant writer to support Fitzroy Lions soccer club – ensuring kids living in public housing in Melbourne's inner north have opportunities to play sport, and uniting families of all backgrounds through the 'world game'. We are about more than just football – our ethos is to bring the community together and show that our diversity is our strength.

Habitat for Humanity Australia requires volunteers for repair and maintenance work on crisis accommodation. The program benefits disadvantaged and socially isolated members of the community. There is a range of volunteer opportunities both in and around Newcastle. No skills are required! Teams are mobilised to conduct landscaping, painting and minor repairs to homes and crisis accommodation.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.
