To maintain props and materials required for the successful presentation of the Abbey Museum and its public programs, including the Abbey Medieval Festival.
As a public museum, Abbey museum aims to promote public awareness of the heritage relating to arts and culture from prehistory to the 20th AD. We are now seeking for a responsible gardener/handyman to help us maintain the peaceful nature of the Museum & Festival grounds, including mowing, whipper-snipping, pruning as required. Collate correspondence/ records for the monthly meetings. Take the minutes of meeting. Write letters and emails as required or instructed by the Committee Assist with the convening of general meetings of the society. Meetings are held Monday or Tuesday evening - once a month. We are looking for a volunteer who can perform minor maintenance, painting and window cleaning at our museum. Lots of little things to take care of, if you are a fix it person, this could be the role for you. As a team member, you may also be asked to help with setting up chairs and tables for a function. We are looking for Volunteer Creative Circle Assistant to provide support to the Ipswich Hospital Foundation’s team. The role provides general assistance under the direction the appointed advisor and may be assigned one or more specific tasks or projects to assist with the programs. The creative circle provides opportunities to collaborate with local artists and musicians to develop social enterprises in the creative sector.
