Looking for an energetic individual to join NSW SES as Deputy Unit Commander, responsible for the oversight of Administration, Planning, Training, Membership and Community Engagement. We need someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and contributing to search and rescue operations during disasters. If you are ready to take on this challenge, we want you on our team.

The NSW State Emergency Service Queanbeyan Unit is a part of a dynamic volunteer-based emergency service organisation providing assistance during emergency situations and natural disasters. Volunteers will assist in the day-today- operations of an emergency response organisation including responding to a natural disaster such as storm, flood, tsunami’s and assist in search and rescue operations.

Did you know the NSW SES has many volunteer roles that are office based providing support to the Incident Management Team and our field operations? Capability Units provide vital support in Incident Control Centres in response to floods, storms and tsunami.
