If you have an interest in all things related to woodworking, painting, traditional wood carving, or mechanics, this role is for you. Perhaps you have a background in horticulture or just have a green thumb? You will help older residents maintain their mobility as well as improve their health wellbeing while having fun!
We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one or two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repairs and maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths tidy-up storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.
HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local church in the area.

Seeking dog lovers to bring in your treasured pooch! Bring along your friendly good-natured pet and spend time chatting with people. You’ll see what a difference your furry friend can make. We ask that your pet is: Calm and gentle in nature, with Up-to-date vaccinations, worms and flea treatment, short blunt claws, and be kept on a lead when visiting.
