The position requires forming a friendly relationship with an older person living in an aged care home by visiting at least once a fortnight. Increase their wellbeing by looking at photos, reminiscing, reading the paper, going for walks in the garden, listening to music, playing games etc.. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast's ACVVS Coordinator is required. Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in The Central Coast. We are seeking a friendly volunteer to come and spend time with an elderly client living at home in Toukley. She would like to meet someone simply to chat over a cuppa and share stories.
Our club offers a fun and engaging game that can be played by people of all ages and skill levels. Our members come to play and socialize in an inviting area of four croquet courts surrounded by large trees and gardens. In the centre of our site is our club house, and verandah.
