Woy Woy Peninsula Neighbourhood Services provide community services within the aged care sector. We are currently seeking volunteer bus drivers to drive groups to do shopping or on outings.

Woy Woy Peninsula Neighbourhood Services support elderly clients in the community with transport to local shops and on local outings to increase community connection and reduce social isolation. We are currently looking volunteers to assist on the shopping trips and outing.

Lets get crafting! Share your love of arts and crafts with residents at HammondCare Aged Care Home in Woy Woy. Show off your creative and artistic skills as you assist people to create their own pieces, we have a huge range of resources available on site to access in this role.

Beauty parlour and pamper session at Woy Woy! You will help to provide companionship while pampering residents with gentle touch and an opportunity for connection and conversation. Spend time with residents talking and listening to their stories, or enjoy calming relaxation music together. Training provided in gentle hand massage and simple nail care (such as filing or nail polish).

Let your voice and love of bingo shine as you volunteer at HammondCare Woy Woy with residents who have dementia or may be frail and elderly. You'll find it very rewarding as you assist and call the games and watch as residents enjoy a popular past time.

Walk and talk... We are currently seeking a Social Volunteer to spend time enjoying the great outdoors. You'll be helping to maintain residents mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing and confidence as you take in the sights of the broader grounds. No fitness level required as this is a social outing with light paced exercise.
