Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in the Darlinghurst. We are seeking a friendly face to visit with an elderly resident in care, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for her as you visit fortnightly for a cuppa and a chat.

A Sound Life provides therapeutic and trauma informed yoga and meditation sessions with our participants of varying physical and mental abilities. Our sessions are tailored to each individual's needs and are designed to connect, uplift their spirits while empowering them. This leads to a positive transformation in the well-being for many Australians in need.

Are you a friendly and caring person who can share an hour or two each week or fortnight to make a difference in the life of an older person? If so, this extremely rewarding volunteer role is for you!

Music can heal, uplift and even transform lives but the people who need it most often have the least access to it. That is where A Sound Life comes in - we do all the legwork to make it easy for you to simply turn up and perform your music either live over Zoom or directly to patients by their bedside in hospitals. Our next Musician Training Day is happening on Sunday, August 11 from 10am-3pm at Together2, Rozelle in Sydney and via Zoom.

Our music and yoga program managers are looking for someone to support them in their role by volunteering their time to help with rostering, communications and general admin. Please note: you do not need to have skills in music, yoga or meditation in order to fulfil this role. We are looking for someone who can use Google Docs, Google Sheets and emails.

We are looking for someone with a love of books to assist our residents with reading activities at our Elizabeth Lodge village

Do you have a lovely, gentle Dog or Cat - can you visit our residents?

Do you enjoy driving, the great outdoors and helping others? If so this role is for you.

Do you love getting out, meeting people & bringing enjoyment to others? Are you a competent & careful driver - would you like to drive our residents & take them on shopping trips or local 'tours'?? We are currently without a driver & are looking for a committed person to assist at our Rushcutters Bay village - Elizabeth Lodge. You will be required to take a 4hr driver training course with an NRMA approved trainer & have a medical with your GP - both at Anglicare's expense.

Are you creative and enjoy sharing your creative talents with others? If so come and join our residents for an art & craft group.

Do you enjoy meeting new people and being involved in creative activities? Love games, craft, or have a skill or interest to share?

Are you internet savvy and comfortable with technology? If yes please read on....
