This is an easy cleaning role! Your attention to detail, reliability, punctuality and commitment will be highly regarded. Your job will be to maintain the cleanliness of our hall, interior only. You will be working in air conditioned comfort. As you will be working with the aged, empathy with the frail & aged is needed. Role is available up to 2 days a week, 5 hours each day, but these days and hours will be discussed with each volunteer.

Your general gardening skills and love of working outdoors will be greatly appreciated in this role. Help keep the grounds and surrounds of our Aged Care Facility looking good for the enjoyment of our residents and visitors. This role involves pruning shrubs, weeding, raking of leaves and watering. Other small, related tasks as directed.

This Community Visitors Scheme matches volunteers to people who are living in their own homes or who are living in Aged Care Homes who would enjoy, and benefit from, friendship and companionship. Your friendly nature, good people skills and empathy for the frail and aged will be highly regarded in this role. Being from a non-English speaking background is desirable but not essential.
