The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers and is based in Carnegie, Victoria.This is a peer support role, fulfilled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

We are seeking a volunteer to assist in our drug and alcohol support program.
Providing support & information to family members concerned about another's alcohol/drug misuse
Socially minded people to attend a venue or event where alcohol is involved. Hours vary
We are looking for a volunteer to co-ordinate the sourcing of a range of Sponsorship / Fundraising ventures from within the Geelong/Surf Coast area to support the Program provided to our clients.
If you can play a musical instrument of any type and are keen to tutor, you can assist us by mentoring people keen on music to learn and or improve their playing skills.
Support worker required to assist with facilitation of a group program for people whose lives have been impacted by drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Provide training and mentoring in woodwork to a small group of men currently participating in a residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. Assist with basic woodworking skills, repairs, cabinetry and basic use of hand tools within the supported program for men.
Provide training and mentoring in metal work to a small group of men currently participating in a residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. We have a very well equipped workshop with Guillotine, folders, rollers, MIG, TIG Arc etc. Please come and join our large team of volunteers who are sharing their recovery journey with them in so many ways.
