The Blue Care Centre in Sunnybank Hills provides centre based activities as well as outings for a wonderful group of people living with a disability, every Tuesday and Thursday. The Centre would love to have Volunteers as part of the team to support these activities and outings, all of which are designed to inspire the people in our care to be active and connected in their communities.

The core business is the manufacture and modification of custom designed living equipment. Additionally the organisation undertakes various additional activities in keeping with the overall mission and goals of the organisation. The organisation utilizes the skills of some 75 volunteers throughout the state.
Volunteer Driver/Assistant to help out 2 days per week until around 2pm
All Abilities Watersports is a waterski club for everyone from 5 to 95 and of any ability. We cater for first timers, adaptive athletes through to the professionals. We are about family, fun and fitness. We have an opportunity for volunteers to assist with a range of ensuring people are signed on for the event and safety gear is fitted. This opportunity would be ideal for someone with good listening skills and looking to gain experience working with people with a disability. #EventVolunteer

Will suit someone who wants to be involved without the physical task of walking with the horses. Someone who lives close to sweep, put out chairs, assist children with their hats; collect money once a month, and socialise with the children after the ride.

Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and supports tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We are currently looking for a HR Volunteer.
Volunteers need to collect, groom, saddle the horses and to participate in classes, whether leading or side walking. Volunteers also need to assist with gates, games and riders preparation, if you prefer not actually be with horses. Training provided. 8am-12pm Friday and / or Saturday during Queensland school term only. (Y)

Abilities and Attributes: Attention to detail, ability and experience with printing, cutting, laminating and Velcro application an advantage.
