Norah Head Light is an active lighthouse located at Norah Head, a headland on the Central Coast, close to Toukley. It is the last lighthouse of the James Barnet style to be built, and the last staffed lighthouse constructed in New South Wales. We are looking for someone to assist with the regeneration and restoration of the natural environment of Norah Head Headland.. ***This opportunity comes to you via Volunteering Central Coast, the volunteering resource centre for the Central Coast***

Come and join our friendly team of shop volunteers at Norah Head Lighthouse Reserve. We sell souvenirs, drinks, ice creams and share local knowledge to our guests. The shop is currently open 7 days per week from 10am to 2pm.

Working with others to address a range and variety of small to medium maintenance issues with the buildings and the surrounding reserve.

Would you like to join our team and have the satisfaction of contributing to maintaining this historic Central Coast Icon? Volunteer to conduct tours of the magnificent lighthouse tower built in 1903. Proved the link between the past and present, sharing information and the rich history with visitors to the Reserve while enjoying the magnificent views. Training is provided.
