ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.

The CARES4Me program provides a free emotional support and referral service where our callers are matched to trained, empathetic, and non-judgmental volunteers who can provide them with a safe, listening space.
