As the saying goes you’ve ‘Got to be in it to win it! As a Games and Puzzle Volunteer, you will provide companionship and meaningful engagement for older people in care at Mason Residential frail aged care home. Spend time sitting alongside one another enjoying the challenge of completing a puzzle together, or perhaps playing simple card games, dominoes or scrabble, depending on the ability of the residents we also have an indoor golf set on site.

Beep Beep, toot toot! With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, elderly residents living at HammondCare Miranda Residential Aged Care will enjoy short outings as you drive them around the local community. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents care needs.

Find the beauty in handmade things. Looking for a creative volunteer who loves creative arts and can help engage our frail aged residents to dabble in some simple art projects. We will provide all resources for small groups of residents to use, you will help provide hands on support and encouragement over a few hours of fun!

A reliable & enthusiastic volunteer driver is required for bus trips

Do you own a lovely, gentle dog? Bring them to brighten the day for our residents! We are looking for a volunteer with a calm, placid & friendly dog who is happy to visit on a regular basis.

Are you a confident and safe driver? A wonderful opportunity exists to engage with residents and assist them as they go on outings from their Residential Care Village.

Would you like to spend time in our Memory Support Unit [dementia] with our lovely residents? Do you have a way with words, are patient and enjoy making a lonely person feel valued? It is a challenging environment & suited to the right kind of volunteer.
