Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for older aged people living in our residential care cottages.

We’re looking for a caring person who can provide conversation and companionship, perhaps go for a walk, play board games, play bowls, tinker in the shed, have a cuppa, listen to music, or create craft pieces.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is an Australian Government initiative established to promote links between elderly people and their local community.
