At Raise we know that a mentor can change the course of a young person’s life, helping teenagers to build resilience and feel more hopeful for the future. We recruit and train volunteers from the community to become youth mentors, before matching them with a teenager at a local public high school.

We're looking for help at the start line, finish line, and all along the course to support and encourage runners as they tackle the 80km course.

Palliative Care patients often find need of social support as their disease progresses. We’re looking for friendly and caring volunteers to visit palliative care patients in their homes to offer social support. Typically, this will be once per week for between 1-4 hours depending on the needs of the patient.
