Street Mission is seeking volunteer supervisors to oversee our kitchen on a monthly basis at our Community Cafe in Dee Why on Wednesday nights (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM). The position is suitable to be shared between two people. Experience in food preparation and some experience in kitchen supervision (whether in a commercial kitchen, school or sport canteen, or other volunteer organisation, etc) is highly desirable. Access to a vehicle is important, to bring the purchased ingredients to the kitchen.

If you are someone who likes a good food and a chatter, this is the role for you. We are looking for a Trip Companion Volunteer who will provide social support to our seniors during their monthly trips to the local restaurants and cafe. The main purpose of the outings is to provide seniors with opportunities to have meals outside their usual environment and enjoy the restaurant atmosphere. The trips will take place once a month on Tuesday between 9:30am - 2:30pm.
