The Queensland Military Historical Society's new museum at Fort Lytton are looking for Guides for our Exhibition Gallery and be responsible for interacting with the general public and helping them to learn about Queensland's rich Military History. The role is combined with a Collection Assistant position where you will have the opportunity to help manage our collection of 12,000 items.

QSHBA is a volunteer-run not-for-profit group that is very active in the community. We have 4 permanent bands that perform regularly: the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop Band, the Queensland Show Band, the Bayside Youth Band and QSHBA Drum Corps. With current volunteers focused on teaching and performance roles, we need 1 or more volunteers to help keep us going behind the scenes, assisting with clerical duties, band room maintenance, as well as library and asset management.
