KADDY helps people with disabilities to get to doctor and hospital appointments. The charity, which started over 40 years ago, relies on volunteer drivers and donations. The services is for people living on the Northern Beaches who use wheelchairs or aged people who can walk a short distance but need assistance. KADDY owns three vehicles which are based in Dee Why or volunteers can choose to use their own cars if they prefer. Typically our drivers are retired and say that helping others is a rewarding way of putting back after a full working life.
