Alamein offers a variety of programs and activities to support the local community. Classes range from basic computer classes to digital literacy classes, English as a Second Language classes and courses for job seekers and those wishing to pursue further education. Leisure classes, including yoga and Pilates are also offered, and a program for older people supports local residents aged over 65 years of age to remain independent and active in their local community. Other residents take part in the Men's Shed program or our Community Garden program, or simply call in to the neighbourhood house to use the public access computer or enjoy a coffee with friends.
