CaringKids is a registered charity dedicated to providing practical support for young carers aged 4 to 12 years providing care for a family member living with a disability or chronic illness. Founded in 2014 CaringKids provides Toy Boxes to young carers Australia-wide, containing toys, books, puzzles, games, arts and craft materials, stationery, sports equipment and books. Our vision is a world where play time is recognised as an essential need for young carers, enabling them to grow into healthy, resilient and compassionate adults. The values underpinning our work are honesty, compassion, determination, leadership and collaboration.
