At Raise we know that a mentor can change the course of a young person’s life, helping teenagers to build resilience and feel more hopeful for the future. We recruit and train volunteers from the community to become youth mentors, before matching them with a teenager at a local public high school.

Connect And Nurture is an in-home support program for new mothers with children aged between 0 and 3. We are looking for kind and nurturing local women who love to form social connections and want to support mothers to not feel alone in raising children. Volunteers visit families in their home for up to 2 hours a week over a 6 month period. This consistent support can be the difference in a mother's life and provides a empowering connection with their local community.

What could you do with just one hour each week? No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. Volunteers will provide social support, companionship, listening ear and emotional support to people living with a life limiting illness. This includes emotional support and respite for carers. Companionship and support for a person who has a life limiting illness including those who are at end of life, either at home or in hospital - can visit Nepean Hospital or clients home.
