Night Parrot Press is an independent, not-for-profit publisher based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia. Since 2019, the press has published works of short-form fiction and non-fiction, with an aim to provide opportunities for emerging and diverse storytellers. Inspired by our namesake, the elusive Australian night parrot, we seek to uncover writing that exists on the periphery, in obscurity, and give it a platform for recognition with a broader audience.
