Goonawarra Neighbourhood House is a non-profit, community-controlled organisation managed by an elected Committee of Management made up of local volunteers. As part of the Neighbourhood House Sector, Goonawarra Neighbourhood House seeks to work with the local community to identify and address community needs using a community development approach. Goonawarra Neighbourhood House works within a community development framework, encouraging change and growth to improve the social, environmental, and cultural infrastructures within the local community and individuals. We seek to be inclusive and supportive of people from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. We believe every individual has inherent worth, knowledge and skills.
