We are an educational community farm and nursery dedicated to empowering people to grow fruit, vegetables, and herbs, compost food waste, and enjoy healthy, seasonal, locally grown food. People of all ages and abilities visit and learn at Green Thumb Farm. We offer school excursions and support schools across SEQ in maintaining and growing their food gardens. Our hands-on learning opportunities invite individuals and families of all ages and abilities to engage directly with growing food and gain practical experience. Through inclusive, interactive and joyous experiences at our farm and nursery, Green Thumb Farm is fostering resilience, hope, and a profound sense of community.
