Inclusion Melbourne

Logo for Inclusion Melbourne

Inclusion Melbourne believes that people with a cognitive disability should be able to live in an inclusive community, supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have the same opportunities to participate in community life. Formed in the late 1940’s as the Gawith Villa, where a group of revolutionary parents came together to find an alternative to the institutional care that was the only option being offered to their children. Today Inclusion Melbourne provides a range of personalised services in the areas of support coordination, direct support, community visitation, volunteering and learning and development. Through our volunteer programs, we provide social support and friendship to people with a cognitive disability and older Australians who are at risk of loneliness and social isolation.
