The Special Olympics MIE club is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and is run by volunteers. We run year-round sports training for over 200 registered athletes with intellectual disabilities, preparing them for competition pathways, creating social connections and helping them to lead a full and rich life. The sporting opportunities delivered via dedicated volunteer are athletics, basketball, bocce, gymnastics, soccer (football), swimming, tennis, tenpin bowling and wintersports.
