The Community Visitors’ Scheme is a federally funded program, established to promote links between elderly people living in their own homes or within aged care residences and friendly volunteer visitors.

We aim to enrich the quality of life of residents of aged care homes, or their own home, who may be socially isolated or lonely, by paying regular personal visits. Aurous' CVS program is proudly offering services to a diverse range of clientele and have recently included multicultural, LGBTI and ATSI callers and volunteers.

We are seeking compassionate and reliable volunteers in the vicinity of MARYBOROUGH, QLD for our Community Visitors Scheme - whereby lonely seniors receive regular visits to their homes by volunteers for a cup of tea and a chat for half an hour a week or one hour a fortnight.
