Chats offers a wide range of social activities. Some activities take place on a regular basis at a consistent time and place while others are one-off events such as half or full day outings or special celebrations. Activity Host volunteers assist Chats participants to engage in group social activities and assist Chats volunteer drivers to undertake their driving responsibilities as efficiently as possible. The tasks may include but not limited to welcoming and introducing participants, ensuring safety for everyone, encouraging positive interactions between participants, money handling, checking attendance lists and generally ensuring things run smoothly.
