You'll be looking after the extensive collection of tools in the machine shop, diesel shop and engine room shop.

Keeping the tidy, checking for damage and letting the senior engine room crew know of any consumables needed.

Knowledge in tools would be a great asset but our crew are happy to teach.

Benefits of volunteering with us is helping preserve one of the most historic ships preserved in Australia which also provides a training facility for many people.

The benefits for the volunteers are learning new skills, meeting new people, social events including dinners, movie nights, camping trips and museum visits.

The MV Cape Don society operates the MV Cape Don and looks after the volunteers. Everyone is a volunteer.
