TRANSITION BONDI – Volunteer opportunity Position: Content Creator About Us We are passionate about environmental education and engagement in our local community. Transition Bondi is part of the global Transition Towns network. Our group is well-established and has been operating since 2009 running educational programs and events. guiding people towards taking action for a healthier planet while building a stronger sense of community.

Job description Use your creative, communication and writing skills to help spread the word about our group and our activities. We are looking for a keen ‘environmentalist’ who has skills in social media, graphic design and newsletter production.

Our monthly programs are: Mend & Remake, Guest Dinner, community garden working bee, community dinner and Inner Transition We use these platforms - website, social media, Trybooking, Mailchimp, monthly newsletter The job would involve preparing text and images about the programs, for the different platforms, and liaising with the subgroups on the team, across Website, Social Media and Newsletter.

Responsibilities Attend meetings fortnightly, to remain up to date about program plans Prepare written content and images about our programmes and environmental issues for social media, website and the newsletter

Skills Proficiency in IT – office skills: Google Drive Social media – Facebook, Instagram Strong writing, marketing, communication and team skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
