Recruitment Practitioner Volunteer – Help Build the Team Behind the Mission

4 Voices is a charity supporting women facing domestic violence, homelessness, isolation, and hardship. We connect women to safety, support, and a path forward; on the street, over the phone, or online. Our volunteers provide real help, hope, and dignity while restoring connection and empowering change.

As a Recruitment Practitioner Volunteer, you will play a key role in attracting and appointing the volunteers who power our frontline and support services. You will manage recruitment activity from promotion through to appointment, ensuring we bring the right people into the right roles to strengthen our impact across the community.

What you will do:

• Promote volunteer opportunities across online platforms, networks, and community channels
• Manage applications in SEEK Volunteer, screening candidates and updating application statuses
• Connect with suitable applicants, respond to enquiries, and schedule interviews
• Partner with line managers to discuss applicants and recommend the best fit
• Support and monitor second interviews where required
• Confirm appointments with successful applicants and clearly communicate next steps
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity and placements in the recruitment planner

Who we are looking for:

• Clear and professional communicator, confident engaging with applicants and leaders
• Previous recruitment experience (volunteer or professional) is essential
• Organised and detail-oriented with strong administrative capability
• Comfortable using recruitment platforms, digital systems, and Microsoft applications
• Able to assess candidate suitability with fairness, professionalism, and sound judgement
• Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently
• Committed to supporting services that make a real difference in women’s lives
