Commitment: Flexible hours – approximately 2 hours per day to start,
About Us
ARTFam (Assisted Reproductive Treatment Families Australia) Is Australias 1st NFP supporting people going through IVF and we also support all the in the Donor concieved Community , ARTFam Also supports ASMBC (Australian Solo Mothers by Choice) Supporting Solo woman creating families created through donor conception.
Founded by Michelle Galea, Victoria’s 2024 Mother of the Year, together we advocate nationally for policy reform, ethical practice, and emotional support for IVF patients & donor-conceived individuals and their families.
- ARTFAM focuses on Advocacy, Support, Education, and policy work to improve systems and laws surrounding assisted reproductive treatment and donor conception.
- ASMBC supports over 4,200 families across Australia and New Zealand through peer support, events, and community connection.
We are 100% volunteer-run currently receive no funding and are wanting to start looking into grants, donations, and sponsorships to continue our work.
About the Role
We are seeking a Personal Admin Assistant to help ther day to day running of operations of ARTFam and ASMBC.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes that directly support women, families, and donor-conceived individuals across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
The Personal Admin Assistant will work closely with leadership to provide high-level administrative support, including:
- Managing and responding to emails
- Calendar management and scheduling meetings
- Formatting documents, letters, and reports
- Data entry and database updates
- Assisting with grant documentation and follow-ups
- Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes (when required)
- Organising digital files (Microsoft 365.)
- Liaising with stakeholders in a professional manner
This role is primarily remote and flexible. But being based in Melbourne is advantageous so we can meet in person at times
Skills & Experience
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Confident with email management and digital systems
- Experienced in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong in written communication
- Discreet and able to handle confidential information
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Previous administration, executive assistant, governance, or NFP experience is highly regarded but not essential.
